Dr. Shyam has over 20 years of Ayurveda experience across 19 countries and has been the mastermind of over 66 Ayurveda / wellness projects. An icon of Ayurveda across the globe, Dr. Shyam was the first licensed Ayurveda physician in the UAE by the Ministry of Health. Very recently, Dr. Shyam was awarded the Ministry of Health Award 2019, UAE for his immense contributions to improve Healthcare in UAE – 2019. He’s also been bestowed with several back to back Health excellence awards by the Dubai Health Authority in 2017 and 2018.
Dr. Shyam is a revered columnist on Ayurveda & wellbeing and has authored over 1000 columns in 15 years for Gulf News. Dr. Benazir is a skilled Traditional Complementary and Alternative medicine (TCAM) professional specialising in Unani medicine, Cupping therapy and Hijama. She has over 23 years of total work experience in hospitals and clinics & 19 years of that in the Middle East alone. As the Medical Director at Cleopatra’s Spa & Wellness, Dr. Benazir treats chronic conditions through Unani medicine, Hijama that includes wet and dry cupping, face cupping, lifestyle coaching and also treats musculoskeletal conditions through Unani regimental therapies.
Dr. Benazir has also served as an examiner on the TCAM board of Examiners, Ministry of Health, UAE since 2007. In April 2019, she was bestowed an award by the Ministry of Health, UAE for her valuable efforts & contribution in examining the TCAM practitioners in UAE.
Dr. Adel Salman Al-Sayyad, MD, ABFM, LSHTM, MSc is a consultant public health, family medicine and epidemiology in Ministry of Health, Bahrain. Since 2010, he is the Chief of Disease Control Section at the Ministry of Health, Bahrain and is leading the case investigation and contract tracing team for Covid-19 in Bahrain. Dr. Adel attended the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) where he attained his diploma and Master degree in Epidemiology in 2005.
Dr. Adel also finds himself passionate about imparting knowledge and is currently a part time associate professor of family and community medicine in Arabian Gulf University (AGU). When it comes to publications, Dr. Adel has more than 45 published articles related to primary care, communicable diseases, non-communicable diseases, health system research, public health, and epidemiology.

Being born into a family of influential doctors and even marrying one; medicine was never just a career choice, but rather a way of life and a natural passion for Dr. Ludmila Vasiliev. She discovered the principle of Optimum Disease, showing that any sickness is not a suffering but a way of Healing. Dr. Namat has gained a comprehensive experience in alternative medicine through searching regulating alternative medicine different professions. Currently she is the chairperson for the Advisory Committee on Licensing of Alternative Medicine and Complementary Medicine Committee and Equal Opportunity Committee (Supreme Council of Women (SCW) Bahrain and GCC Alternative and Complementary Medicine Committee, as well as discipline committee for Nurses and Midwifes, since 2015 till date.
Dr. Namat has been solely responsible for pushing the agenda when it comes to regulating alternative medicine in the Kingdom of Bahrain through the issuance of Resolution no (33) of 2016. She has also been behind the master idea of issuing permit license for the Bahraini traditional cupping since October 2017.

Prof. Abdullah Alabdulgader is the founder and chief cardiologist at the Prince Sultan Cardiac Center – Alhasa- Saudi Arabia. He is a Senior Congenital Heart Consultant, Senior Pediatric and adult Electrophysiologist ,Cardiac Electrical Devices Implanter. He is also the General Director, Research Center, Ministry of Health, Saudi Arabia.
Prof. Abdullah likes to regard himself as a thinker, philosopher, neurocardiologist and a cardiac astrophysical scientist. He has been the World Gold Medal Awardee (WOSCO 2012) and is also a member of the Royal College of physicians of United Kingdom (London, Glasgow and Edinburgh).
Biography – Dr. Iftikhar Ahmad Saifi received his Bachelor degree in Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) from India and Doctor of Naturopathy (ND) from the USA. He practiced naturopathic medicine in a center of repute for Health and Wellness in the heart of Hollywood for 9 years. He is presently settled and sees patients in Dubai, UAE.
Dr. Saifi strongly believes in the connection between mind, body, and spirit and that there is an inherent ability of the body to heal itself. Dr. Sinsen Joseph has completed his BHMS and MD(Hom), from the prestigious Government Homeopathic Medical College, Calicut, India. After his brief stint as a medical officer with the Department of Homeopathy (Now AYUSH), Govt. of Kerala he moved to Dubai and was the first licensed homeopathic specialist in the Middle East. Dr Syed has over 25 years of experience in the field of Unani Medicine. He did his graduation in Unani Medicine.( B.U.M.S) from Govt Nizamia Unani Medical College, Hyderabad, India in 1997 and Post Graduation in Developmental Rehabilitation ( P.G.D.D.R) from OSMANIA University in 2000. He is a Licensed practitioner in Unani Medicine in UAE since 2002 and Licensed Hijama practitioner in UAE since 2005 . He has worked for reputed Medical Centers in Dubai and Sharjah before starting Al Hijama Alternative Medical Center in Sharjah in 2010.
He believes that no one system of medicine can give complete cure to certain ailments hence integration of different systems of medicine is a must to treat certain cases . With this belief, expanded the medical center to accommodate other Alternative Medicine streams under one roof in 2017.
